Insurance & Fee Information
 

Donations made to Initiating Communities Helping Area Neighborhoods Gain Empowerment (ICHANGE) are tax-deductible because ICHANGE is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. To preserve the tax-deductible status of your donation, ICHANGE reserves the right to decide how your donation will be used. However, every effort is made to honor any preference a donor may state for the use of a given donation.


Fees

 

We make every effort to provide our services to persons regardless of the level of their financial resources. This is a central part of the mission of our agency. Toward this end, we do two things:

 

  1. We accept many insurance plans which help make our services affordable.

  2. We offer a sliding fee to offset a portion of our standard fee, in situations of financial hardship, for those who are self-paying for their services (not using insurance).

**Please note that not all of our providers are covered by every plan above. Please also note that some health insurance plans do not include coverage for mental health benefits and some do not include coverage for certain services (such as marital counseling).

We consider it a privilege to assist you in determining what insurance coverage you would have for our services and for which therapists. You are welcome to call us at (517) 879-9543 (Monday through Friday) with your insurance information and we will research your coverage for you. We are also able to service a wide variety of insurance plans as out-of-network providers.
